Product Overview

Aero-Sensing Camera is a high-resolution, high-durability zoom imaging core specifically designed for high-risk missions such as large-area high-altitude geographic mapping, long-distance border patrol reconnaissance, smart grid inspection, and disaster search and rescue.

Serving as the visual heart of the entire sensing ecosystem and optoelectronic gimbals, this series of cores is fully encapsulated in CNC aviation-grade aluminum alloy enclosures, which can completely shield the strong RF interference from high-speed lift motors, ensuring noise-free, zero-texture clear digital imaging. The internal lens group is driven by a precision stepper motor and equipped with a high-computing-power autofocus algorithm.

The system is perfectly adapted to SONY high-sensitivity photosensitive elements. When mounted on the F1200 recon & strike multi-rotor or the FD50P hybrid fixed-wing, it can provide 12-megapixel and 4K @ 30 fps ultra-clear video recording with a high streaming bitrate of 64 Mbps. Its outstanding wide-temperature and wide-voltage performance makes it fearless of extreme cold and high temperatures, serving as the ultimate visual engine for building low-altitude, wide-area, ultra-clear situational awareness.

CMOS & Optical Zoom Technology

High-altitude long-distance tracking and aerial survey have extremely strict physical requirements for lens distortion control, aperture light throughput, and autofocus response. The Aero-Sensing Camera has undergone a system-level upgrade in its optical design and image sensors.

  • SONY Photosensitive Element: The core sensor selects SONY industrial-grade back-illuminated CMOS, with extremely high dynamic range (WDR) and excellent low-illuminance performance. Even in high-illumination contrast environments such as dusk or backlight, shadow details remain clear.
  • High-Purity Glass Lens Group: The front zoom lens group adopts 14 high-purity aviation-grade optical glass lenses stacked layer by layer, with zoom ratios covering 14x and 30x optical zoom. The lens surface is coated with multi-layer anti-glare and anti-fog polarized purple-gold anti-reflection coatings, greatly filtering sunlight glare and sea surface reflections.
  • High-speed Adaptive Auto Focus: Equipped with a precision silent stepper motor, the focus response time is as low as 1 s. Even when cruising at a high speed of 110 km/h or changing directions at large attitude angles, the screen can instantly reconstruct a clear focus, locking onto ground targets.

Interfaces & Streaming Protocols

As a general highly-integrated visible light vision core, the Aero-Sensing Camera provides high-tensile, moisture-proof standardized digital outputs and electrical buses.

  • HDMI Digital HD & Large-Capacity Storage: The rear plate of the core is equipped with high-seal standard HDMI digital video output interface and UART serial port, supporting 1080P/4K real-time streaming. The built-in Micro-SD card slot supports up to 128 GB high-speed SDXC memory card, supporting simultaneous photography and video recording.
  • UART Serial Port & Multi-protocol Compatibility: The system supports standard VISCA, PELCO-D and other gimbal control protocols. The flight control system can send zoom, focus, and iris control commands in real time through the serial port. 12 V - 24 V compatible input voltage perfectly copes with various power buses of multi-axis and fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Zero-latency RTSP/RTMP Streaming: Through airborne communication links (such as the Aero-Link series), the 4K/1080P image can be seamlessly compressed into H.264/H.265 code stream, with latency lower than 20 ms, transmitted in real time to the command center, greatly improving the prompt reaction speed of situational awareness.
